Q: What is the most important thing to take note of when choosing an engagement ring?
A: Her size of course! You have to know her exact ring size. It must fit perfectly!
Q: Regarding design, what is the first thing you consider about the ring?
A: It all revolves around the stone. That is the centerpiece. The first thing you need to decide is the cut or shape of the stone. Look at the jewelry she already owns. She may already have a favorite shape. If not, you can base it off on her personality! No one knows her better than you do.
Q: Once you have decided on the cut what comes next?
A: Decide what will be more important for your future fiancé: color, clarity or carat. If she is not the type who needs a big stone, you can get her something small but brilliant. However, if she is the type who would want a big stone, get something big but lower on the scale in terms of color and clarity. Of course, if you have the budget, you could get her anything you please. Just take note that color, clarity and carat all have an effect on the price of the diamond.
Q: What are your tips for choosing the band?
A: Again it will be helpful to observe what kind of jewelry she already owns. Does she gravitate towards white gold or yellow gold? Choose the color she wears more often because she will be wearing this ring forever!
Q: Any last tips?
A: Above all, the most important part about the ring is how it makes you feel. Do not focus too much on finding the perfect ring on paper. Just focus on finding the perfect ring to symbolize your love for her.
