A Night of Disco and Diamonds: Celebrating 5 Years of 1380

The theme is Disco and Diamonds and the evening shimmered with elegance and energy. The outcome: one of the most memorable moments of Miladay!

Last Friday, November 15, 2024, the ancestral home of the Dayrit family transformed into a dazzling disco wonderland to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the 1380 collection—a collection created by the third generation of Dayrit jewelers, showcasing their fresh take on fine jewelry.

From the moment guests arrived, they were immersed in a world of sparkle. The family home, decked out in silver balloons, disco balls, and 1380 mementos (in the form of Polaroids), provided the perfect backdrop for the enchanting display of the 1380 collection's modern pieces.

The festivities began with two exciting games: Miladay's signature "Guess How Many Diamonds" and the new "Guess How Many Disco Balls" (an ode to the party's concept). The lucky winners walked away with a dazzling necklace from the 1380 collection and a bottle of Sula Coconut Liqueur.

As the night unfolded, guests indulged in delicious, curated cocktails inspired by the collection and its sub-collections. The drinks included 1380 (rum, ginger ale with ginger calamansi honey), Palm (gin, tonic, with pineapple juice), Heir (vodka, lychee coconut juice, with lemon soda), Kin (whiskey and tonic), and Tribe (tequila, triple sec, with mango purée). Savory pizza and pasta by Papizza, shawarma, and a grazing table filled with cold cuts and cheese further delighted everyone.

The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the dance floor. Setting the tone for the night were the talented DJ duo Ric and Javi De Jesus, a dynamic father-and-son team, joined by DJ Milkboi (Julian Espino), a cousin of the creators of the 1380 Collection. Adding a truly special touch was DJ Vince Sol, a proud member of Miladay’s third generation of jewelers. As guests danced the night away to electrifying disco tracks, memories were captured at the VIP Photoman photo booth, ensuring the night’s magic was preserved forever.
