MILADAY FOUNDATION
The Miladay Foundation was founded by Mama Mila as the Miladay Cultural Foundation, inspired by her passion for music, education, and the arts. A talented classical pianist, she supported young scholars and helped nurture aspiring musicians for many years.
Today, the foundation continues her legacy of generosity through scholarships, community outreach, disaster recovery, and environmental initiatives. Its efforts include helping rebuild homes in Javier, Leyte after Typhoon Yolanda, supporting the reforestation of the Bataan National Forest, and partnering with the Jesuit Prison Ministry to assist inmates and their families.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the foundation launched Meal-a-Day, providing packed meals to hospitals and frontliners during a critical time of need. Through these programs, the Miladay Foundation continues to create meaningful and lasting impact in communities across the Philippines.
Ephesus House
Inspired by the House of the Blessed Mother in Ephesus, Turkey, the Ephesus House in Alfonso, Cavite was envisioned as a pilgrimage site of prayer, peace, and healing right here in the Philippines.
As one of the key people behind the project, Yvonne helped establish the Hermitage Ephesus Foundation Inc., which supports the mission and continued development of the site as a place for reflection, spiritual renewal, and grace.
To help support the project, Miladay created the Lady of Ephesus medal, an original design with proceeds helping fund the continued construction and mission of the house. As the sixth love of Miladay, Ephesus House reflects the family’s enduring devotion to faith, healing, and service to others.
Assumption College San Lorenzo
Assumption has long been part of the Dayrit family story, with generations of Dayrit women having studied there through the years. Through its support of Assumption College and the Assumption Mission, a community of sisters and lay partners dedicated to transformative education and spreading God’s love, Miladay continues to champion education, leadership, creativity, and values formation among young women. The family also gives back to the sisters by producing the rings they receive on their final vows as Miladay’s gifts of love.
The relationship reflects a shared belief in nurturing future generations through faith-centered learning and service to others.
Healing Servants Foundation
Miladay supports the Healing Servants Foundation and its mission school, Divine Healer Academy in Sorsogon, founded by Fr. Gerard Deveza. The organization provides quality education, values formation, and spiritual guidance to deserving students from underserved communities.
Carewell Community and ICanServe Foundation
Miladay’s support for cancer-related causes is deeply personal to the family. Both Mama Mila and Papa Ting passed away from cancer, while Michelle Dayrit Soliven is herself a two-time cancer survivor.
Through partnerships with Carewell and ICanServe Foundation, Miladay contributed to cancer awareness, patient support, survivorship programs, and access to early detection and care for women and families across the Philippines. These organizations also help educate and give hope to cancer patients and their families as they navigate difficult journeys with compassion, strength, and loving support.
